  • Yes, my 9-year-old and I. The same one who "Googles" better than most adults. She just seems to get the deeper levels of the technology. She said today, "I was writing on Google Docs--I mean, I was writing *in* Google docs, not about it..." OK, just plain scary.
  • Hi Sharon,

I'm with you: these SN's can be very overwhelming to a large majority of teachers. I tend to build a wiki or blog for each of my trainings and point them to the SN as places they can go to learn more/get more involved.

  • Hiya Darren. Are you feeling okay? Your picture is making me nervous. :)
  • Darren - I'm totally new to Ning and I'm on a trip until the end of July, so not sure how much I'll be doing in the short term.
Excited about the network though - I agree with recent posts - this might be part of the tipping point.

  • Thanks...still trying to follow your lead...I'm learning, but still feel SO unlearned...man, it's going to be SO hard to teach the unitiated if I can't folow the lead myself...
  • Glad you like it. I felt so left out!
  • Nice work on the photo retouch.
  • Yeah, to be honest I don't have a whole lot of experience with Ning. It does, however, seem to have a lot of potential. You should look into Julie and Vicki's Horizon Project and how they used the Ning.
  • Finding Ning to be a tool I want to learn more about and figure out ways to use it with my teachers and students,
