I've worked with AFS-USA for 6 years as the Director of our Sponsored Programs Department where I am responsible for implementing Department of State educational exchange programs. Prior to working with AFS-USA, I worked with the Hispanic Scholarship Fund as a director for national outreach. I have a strong passion for education for young people, in particular providing access to opportunities for first-generation and low-income youth. I've had the good fortune to work abroad in Germany and Japan which has helped shape my global perspective, and I want others to have these opportunities as well.
