More About Me
Saltanat Meiramova is a director of International Cooperation and Multilingual Education Development Centre at the Saken Seifullin Kazakh Agrotechnical University in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan.
She is a candidate of pedagogical sciences, a TEFL associate professor and combines teaching with administrative work. She is an alumna of JFDP program (Linguistics) in the USA, 2010, International program “Bolashak” in the UK, 2011.
Saltanat took a ten-week online teacher training course scholarship in Critical Thinking Skills at the University of Oregon American English Institute in 2009, and CELTA program scholarship from English Language Institute of Missouri State University, the USA in 2016 as well.
Also, she won the International program MASHAV’s course on topic “New Pedagogies in the 21st century for Higher Education Teachers” in Israel, Jerusalem, 2017.
S. Meiramova is awarded to participate in a two-week International Visitor Leadership Program entitled “University Partnerships: Higher Education Administration” organized by the U.S. Departments of State between February 14 and February 29, 2020.
She has a good experience as a head of research project funded by Ministry of Education and Science (TBLT technology in profession-oriented English teaching for multilingual specialties of universities in Kazakhstan, 2015-2017) and as a country coordinator in the European Union Erasmus + project No. 574157 “DIREKT – Development of transregional information literacy for lifelong learning and knowledge economy, 2016-2019 and project no. 598661 “DECIDE – Development of Services for Persons with Disabilities, 2018-2021.
