.More than 35 years of experience in disaster risk reduction in India, developing strategies to Community based disaster risk management and training events, School Safety, and Climate Smart interventions.
• Climate change Specialist over 25 years working on Low carbon farming, integrating disaster risk reduction with climate change interventions.
• More than 20 years of experience as a consultant on disaster risk reduction for Government of Andhra Pradesh (APARD) /India, CASA, LWF, and so on.
• Brought out Trainers training manual on “Child-centered disaster risk reduction”
• Brought out trainers training manual on Community based disaster risk reduction
• Published articles on Safe schools and CBDRM/ Sustainable Agriculture

• Chief functionary/Disaster Manager to CADME a coalition of thirty five development organizations working together on DRR and Climate Change in Andhra Pradesh and Orissa.
ACHIEVEMENTS:
• 563 Taskforce groups trained in 480 vulnerable villages to mitigate the effects of impending disasters.
• 256 safe schools are formed.
• 6932 acres of barren land has been developed as Agroforestry
