An accomplished Education Management professional with 8 years’ experience developing and managing summer academies and camps for high school students. Excel at customizing in-service programs for inner-city high schools, inclusive of, enrichment workshops, non-degree courses, and non-credit professional certification. Possess 5+ years’ experience in talent acquisition and staff supervision.
A Passion for Education and the Promotion of Personal Development through Training and Capacity Building demonstrated in my work experience: currently developing life and leadership workshops and after school programs for immigrant youth through New York City funding; Implemented USAID-funded educational programs for local leadership with the US government; Organized the set up and development of a private English Language Center at international level and managed training of government officials, private sector leadership, civil society and the media; Developed livelihood programs in support of displaced young mothers living in post-conflict country to promote self-sufficiency; Designed Financial Literacy courses for refugees that promoted their integration in the US. Fluent in French and good working knowledge of Spanish.

More About Me
Laurette Nsanze is an Education Manager transitioning to Higher Education. She is recognized by her peers as a noteworthy leader for her work in non-profit education in New York City. Laurette has been acknowledged for delivering a continuum of secondary educational programs to youths across the State of New York which were on the verge of closure. Her experience in educational program development has placed her in positions to develop and expand continuing education programs at non-for-profit and for-profit agencies alike. Under her leadership, Sauti Yetu Center’s enrichment program experienced an expansion of its continuing education programs at three international high schools. These enrichment programs were administered to the youth and young adults. Her accomplishments also included deliveries of training curricula, financial literacy, job readiness and college pathway programs in multiple international secondary schools for more than 300 students in New York City. Laurette was also a key player in expanding the English language programs at Learning and Testing Services, and Engility. She has successfully organized the training and development of English language programs in South Sudan and Burundi for adult professionals including government officials, the civil society, the media and the police for more than 300 participants.
