More About Me

Before becoming a special education teacher I was an elementary Art teacher. Art is more than just a pretty picture. It's more about the process and what can be learned and gained through that process. My daily schedule in the classroom included a "creative" block. This was probably my favorite time of day and the favorite of many of the kids. We painted, drew, glued, cooked, danced, sang, etc. So I'm so happy to be able to bring my Art teacher experience into the classroom still.
