Applied social & emotional learning through human-centered design, PBL and maker education. Sustainability & climate change/social justice/social entrepreneurship. Human-centered design + computational thinking + immersive role-playing strategies incorporating programmable mini drones, micro-controllers & other robots. Just beginning to design a pilot program partnering with students & local sustainability experts to use thermal imaging drones to map energy leakage in our community & incorporate into an interactive 3D model for geospatial analysis.

Personal Interests and Passions

I love anything design & make related, and anything tech that involves physical computing. I am passionate about working with youth on “empathy to community impact” projects, particularly those related to sustainability & climate change. I was a scout leader for 10 years and now lead a VIRTUAL SYNERGY student group & a ChangeMaker student group.
