While teaching Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Geometry, and Algebra II at the middle school level for 14 years, I became Nationally Board Certified in Early Adolescent Mathematics. More recently, I taught Algebra II and Geometry at the high school level. Currently, I am finishing my 4th year as an instructional coach with a love for blended learning and mathematics.

Personal Interests and Passions

In my free time, I love to be with my family. I spend many hours watching one of my sons play golf and the other son swim both competitively. During this time of quarantine, our family has rediscovered the joy of being together and playing games. Family, music and faith are the things most dear to my heart.

More About Me

In the last 4 years, I am most passionate about leading a district wide blended learning teacher leader group and the implementation of a LMS in my high school. Every teacher can learn new techniques to enhance what they already do in the classroom. We just have to meet them where they are, listen to what makes them passionate, and provide learning experiences that meet their needs and learning styles.
