I have been teaching for seven years: three in rural Arkansas, four in east Los Angeles. I started teaching with Teach For America, and I joined that venture after two and half years of finance for a US military contractor. I have visited most of the US and have lived in PA, MD, FL, AR, and now CA, and I care deeply about the future of education for the country
