I investigate the role of language in the teaching and learning of mathematics concepts. My class room -- both physical and virtual -- is my laboratory. I am a 2016 recipient of the Presidential Award in Excellence in Math and Science Teaching and a 2019 Fulbright Distinguished Award in Teaching recipient.
