    PROFILE Dr. Evangelin Whitehead is Associate professor of Education in English and has served as Associate professor in the College of Education, Jubail of the University of Dammam, Dammam, Saudi Arabia from 2011 to 2016 and in the English language Centre of Taif University at Mecca province of Saudi Arabia. She has also served as Associate Professor in the English language Institute (ELI) of Princess Nora University (PNU), Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Dr. Evangelin is a language specialist who received her Ph.D in English Education from Periyar University, Salem, India. She has received her Masters’ in English and Education. She also earned her Masters’ in Public Administration and Counseling and Psychotheraphy She is a certified Cognitive Behaviour Therapist and Psychologist. She is a recognized and authorized Guide and supervisor for Ph.D scholars of various universities in India and abroad. She is a certified reviewer for various International Journals of research especially in the Education Resources Information Centre (ERIC) U.S Department of Education. She has published her research articles in SCOPUS and ISI indexed journals and journals listed in ERIC, USA. She is a sole author of 17 educational books. She has worked as Principal for the Colleges of Education in India and worked as a member of National Accreditation Councils in matters related to the recognition of Education colleges, academic accreditation, quality assurance, Curriculum development, professional development, evaluation and assessment. Dr. Whitehead teaches B.Ed, M.Ed, M.Phil and Ph.D courses and other English language courses like Research Methodology, Teaching Methodology, Language assessment, Teaching strategies, Lesson Planning, Advanced Essay writing in the Department of Education and English language. She is experienced in reviewing various projects of the Education and Language departments. She has served as an authorized supervisor for examining and evaluating various theses for the Ministry of Higher Education Scientific Committee of Saudi Arabia. (MOHESC) She has supervised 25 research scholars so far, all got awarded degrees. She regularly participates in educational workshops on teaching strategies, faculty accreditation/assessment, and student engagement. She has received numerous awards. She is a life member of many notable professional/scientific associations including All India Association for Educational Research, The Academy for Registered Psychotherapists, The Association of Professional Psychologists and The Indian Society for Technical Education,
