More About Me
I am a committed ESL teacher, consultant, teacher trainer and ESL trainer working for the past 37 years. I have been an Academic Counsellor, External Faculty (Resource person for Teacher Training) since 1997 at the EFLU, Hyderabad, India ( English and Foreign Languages University).
I worked as a full time professor of English in Hyderabad for 3 years before coming to Oman. I have an M.A, PGCTE, M.Litt. and Ph.D. (2008) in ELT from the English and Foreign Languages University and Osmania University in Hyderabad. I completed my CELTA in May 2007.
My research in M.Litt. and Ph.D. was in the area of Communication, Spoken Skills, Task Complexity and Course Design.
I have been an Examiner for Cambridge Speaking exams.
I have worked in India, Ethiopia, Libya and Oman.
I'm a native of India, Kerala, working in Oman for the past 6 years. I will be retiring in June this year.
