I am currently the Deputy Director of the School of Commerce and Social Studies in Education at the Faculty of Education at the North West University in South Africa. I'm a Senior Lecturer. On research, I focus on Teacher development and performance. My publications include Internship and cognitive development and different teaching strategies to enhance T&L of teachers. My research in Self-directed learning focus on a SDL induction programme for beginner teachers. I received the Distinguished Teaching Excellence Award for 2019 at the NWU across all Faculties.
