Charo Lanao is a change agent with a vision of a world in which we recognize our interdependence with each other and between people and nature. Charo enables her clients to think with their hearts and feel with their minds. Charo supports individuals and organizations to imagine possibilities, hold intentions and commitments and adapt, with creativity and flexibility to uncertainty, to what lies ahead.
Charo's skills and expertise enable her to build bridges between different world views, traditions and cultural backgrounds. She achieves this by combining the western approach of conservation and development, neuroscience and system thinking with Andean and Lakota shamanic wisdom. This allows her to understand energies and become an energy conductor.
Charo is a member of the International Association of Facilitators; Art of Hosting and Flow Game community; member of the Applied Improvisation network, and an associate of Atinchik Consultants. She is an international master facilitator for the British Council Active Citizen program and Educating the Heart a teacher training program, she is also a facilitator for the World Bank Amazon Sustainable Landscape program and other organisations that work in the Amazon basin.
