Hybrid Homeschool 101: What Is Hybrid Homeschooling and Can I Actually Do It?
Part of the LearningRevolution.com 'Survive and Thrive!' Series
This year, the number of parents choosing to homeschool has risen from 5 % of all K – 12 students up to more than 10% (and this does not count the number of students taking advantage of remote learning options from their local school district). Recent research states that parents, teachers, and students want something different from schools this year and in the future, and the answer lies in more flexibility. Hybrid homeschooling may be the answer.
Hybrid homeschooling is: "...a model where children split their time between homeschool and a more traditional schooling environment. This could be three days at home and two days at school, two days at home and three days at school, part of the day at home and part of the day at schools, or a variety of other options." (See the Forbes article "Is Hybrid Homeschooling The Wave Of The Future?")
In this webinar, we will address:
- What is hybrid homeschooling? Would it work for your family?
- Hybrid Homeschooling 101: Rules and Regulations and Working with School Districts
- Applying Hybrid Homeschooling to Traditional K – 12 education
If you have been thinking about the future of schooling (and homeschooling), this is the course for you!
