Before taking up the school librarian mantel, I was a middle and high school English teacher. I'm active with the National Council of the Teachers of English, the Oregon Council of the Teachers of English, and the Oregon Association of School Librarians, I'm also a PhD student in Information Technology, researching Student Driven Inquiry, an Inquiry Based Learning model.
