In Brazil I teach EFL / ESL, Literature in English (study groups) and education technology as a guest teacher in a local University . I moderate online courses, usually regarding training teachers. I teach and work with teacher training both face- to-face and online and I do love my job. I love teaching face to face and online , training, mentoring, preparing people for exams and / or to become teachers.
Personal Interests and Passions
I am a life lover , indeed! I am a passionate and enthusiastic person. I am interested in good music ( no mater the style) , from classical to rock. My deepest passion is my family! No comments ! I love travelling , as much as possible. Anywhere, any time, to work, to have fun, with my husband, or friends, or family or on my own, it doesn't matter. I love cold weather, rainy days, coffee and tea, I love dogs and I have a Maltese called Elvis, one of my passions. I am lazy to do physical exercise but I do some because of medical prescription. I am a cinema fan and an avid reader. I go to the cinema to watch films because its far more exciting! I like some TV series only and I hardly ever spend my time in front of the TV. My other passion is photography, I hobby I decided to embrace and love thanks to my husband, an ophthalmologist who's also a great photographer, and has taught me wonderful lessons on how to take great pics. I like the sea , I live on the coast but at the age of 50, I am becoming more passionate for the mountains, its quietness and cool weather. Last but not least, I love cooking, eating and trying new food when I visit new places and I love trying new recipes at home.

More About Me
I am a very enthusiastic person and professional. I love laughing, meeting new people, travelling , presenting on conferences , but most of all I am a family person. I am happily married (for 30 years, BTW) and my family is what most matters to me. I am very intense in everything I do and the most important thing for me is to enjoy life , every minute of it , be thankful and happy for being alive and healthy. I've been a teacher for about 28 years now. Apart from teaching , I am a passionate blogger and mentor. I love mentoring (face to face and online) and blogging as much as I can. I love working with new technology educational tools ( apps, web tools, etc). At the moment I am studying MA in ELT at the University of Reading UK. It's a long distance MA full of challenges and a lot of hard work. As soon as I finish it , I intend to do a PhD , perhaps. Actually I maybe choose to be more a grandma in e /4 years from now and work more independently in order to have more time to spend time with my family. Let's wait and see. I am graduated in Fine Arts, English, Portuguese and literature. I am also a psychologist and an ELT consultant. I love studying, writing articles and have them published. Most of all I love mentoring and team work. As a psychologist, I am fan of psychoanalysis and I am always trying to link some things to it, such as literature either in English or Portuguese.
