Personal Interests and Passions

I have been interested in all aspects of Mind, Brain & Education for a long time and became a teacher because I wanted to be part of the revolution. I have been frustrated and disappointed at the cognitive dissonance between what we know about the teenage brain and the reality of the culture in our schools of simply getting the teachers to work harder and harder, apparently in the hope that somehow this will transfer to the students. I want to change that. I want to help students learn better and I want teaching to be revolutionised.
