Personal Interests and Passions
Working with people that need help in setting goals and helping them achieve those goals. Not only is it their achievement, but it is mine as well. Working with students gave me great satisfaction to see students graduate from high school. I felt a great sense of pride knowing that I had a part of that big step. Although, never looking for a pat on the back, some of the students would come and thank me for all my help which I would reply by thanking them and telling them that it was all of their hard work that brought them to graduate. The smile on their faces after that conversation was another "heart touching" reason why I loved what I was doing. I also received phone calls from some of the parents thanking me for putting up with them as well as their son or daughter. The parent conversations were always fun and interesting when we would recall certain things that we had to go through, hahaha! All in all, I love working with people and sharing their achievements.
More About Me
I have since moved from Minnesota as my sons are starting their own business. It's also a little warmer than Minnesota hahaha! I am a proud US Air Force veteran with 11 1/2 years of service. I am now unemployable due to a service connected injury or I would still be working in education. I truly miss it very much.
