More About Me
Casper Pieters studied science and has worked as an ecologist in Australia and the Pacific. Later in life he became a secondary science and maths teacher and has taught these subjects in mainstream schools. He has further specialised in the teaching of gifted children and has extensive experience in digital learning modalities. In 2011 he realised that with the advent of the internet, a full education can be provided to children living in remote situations away from quality schooling. He is passionate about this and has sought out numerous associations with educational publishers, educators and researchers to accomplish this. It is important to him that the computer based learning is blended with direct human face-to-face support to make for a balanced education. Casper has an extensive Personal Learning Network that keeps abreast with latest breakthroughs in online distance education.
