My main subject area is English, particularly literature. I've taught British Literature, Journalism, and Science Fiction and Fantasy courses, to name a few.
Personal Interests and Passions
I am a voracious reader and passionate about literature and the difference powerful storytelling can make in changing hearts and minds (small wonder, as I am an English teacher!) I also love science fiction and fantasy, technology, writing, theater and the arts, social media, film, being outdoors, social justice, politics, videography, entrepreneurship, philosophy, and networking, to name a few interests and areas in which I dabble!
More About Me
My current job is as a webinar facilitator, creating and managing virtual events, which is not an accident, as I love technology. However, I'm excited to get back in the classroom, and I look forward to meeting and networking with like-minded educators. I got married this past year, and my wife and I are moving to Brick, NJ (not far from the Jersey Shore). I am an insatiable optimist with a great sense of humor. Among other things, I created and help run a writer's group, I own and operate a home based business, and I have done over ten years of leadership and development courses.
